Step 1: Add a New Canvas (or Page)

  1. In the Showit App, navigate to your Canvas view.
  2. In the left-hand sidebar, click the “+” icon next to Pages to add a new page.
  3. Select Canvas as your page type. This will create a blank canvas that you can customize from scratch.
  4. If you want to add a page with content already created, you can either copy an existing canvas or use a pre-built page template (under Templates).

Note: Pages in Showit are made up of canvases, which are the individual sections of your page (e.g., header, footer, gallery, etc.).

Step 2: Customize the Canvas Layout

After your new page or canvas is created, you can begin customizing:

  1. Add and arrange elements such as text, images, buttons, forms, and videos.
  2. You can drag and drop the elements to the desired position.
  3. Use the right-hand panel to adjust settings like colors, fonts, borders, and shadows.

Step 3: Add the New Page to Your Navigation

To ensure your new page is accessible to visitors, you’ll need to add it to the navigation:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Navigation.
  2. Under Main Menu or the relevant section, click “+” to add a new menu item.
  3. Choose the new page you just created from the list of available pages.
  4. Arrange the menu items as needed, then hit Save.

Step 4: Mobile Optimization

After adding a new page, be sure to optimize it for mobile:

  1. Use Mobile View to adjust the layout for smaller screens.
  2. Check the size and positioning of images, text, and other elements.
  3. Optionally, hide certain elements on mobile for better usability (e.g., large images or complex sections).

Final Notes

Adding new pages or canvases allows you to expand your Showit website with ease. Whether it's creating a new section or adding an entirely new page, Showit’s flexibility makes the process smooth and intuitive.
